Descrição: In this letter we derive the relationships between two well-known spinor approaches to the theory of general relativity, namely the approaches of Witten and Penrose and that of Bergmann. It is shown that both methods are related by simple formulae. We analyze briefly the two situations of spaces with matter and empty spaces. The relationships derived may be useful for further applications of the subject. For instance, they can be useful in the problem of quantization of general relativity.
