Descrição: Neste artigo é apresentado um tutorial sobre o uso da metodologia de redes na análise de fenômenos sociais; em especial são apresentados resultados qualitativos sobre a CPI do Narcotráfico e investigações correlatas da Polícia Federal. Mostra-se a contribuição que tais ferramentas oferecem na elaboração de teorias. Exemplifica-se com um estudo de caso sobre “redes criminais”.
This article presents a tutorial on the use of the network methodology in analyzing social phenomena. It especially shows the qualitative results of the Parliamentary Investigation Committee (CPI) on drug trafficking and related investigations carried out by the Federal Police. It shows how those tools can contribute towards developing theories; and uses as an example a study case on “criminal networks”.
