Descrição: Five heptapeptide amides related to the C-terminal portion of tachykinins and two heptapeptide amides related to the C-terminal portion of bombesin-like peptides were synthesized and the smooth muscle contractile activity of these peptides was compared with that of the C-terminal heptapeptide of substance P by taking synthetic substance P as a standard.
