  • Descrição: Data General Corp. has introduced its Comprehensive Electronic Office-Document Exchange Architecture (CEO-DXA) - the first such commercial product which is not IBM designed - providing peer-to-peer document distribution through IBM's Systems Network Architecture Distributed Services (SNADS). Also introduced were memory modules which increase Eclipse MV 2000DC and DS 7500 workstations' maximum capacity from 5Mbytes to 10Mbytes. The CEO-DXA features PU2., which controls the connection among nodes; and it includes LU6.2, which offers a basic interface among application programs of DG and IBM. The CEO-DXA has a starting price of $9,000. The Application Program Interface LU6.2 (APILU), which DG introduced, is a version of the IBM LU6.2 program-to-program interface and costs from $1,500 to $7,200.
