  • Descrição: The study focuses on Portuguese immigrants that arrived in São Paulo in the period from 1950 to 1963, when immigration was stirred up. Using the Oral History methodology, these immigrants were interviewed and spoke about their migratory course experience at different phases. Till now they maintain strong links with the origin village, where they are considered as "Brazilians". although with a different connotation of that attributed to the immigrants that returned  towards the end of the 19th and at the beginning of the 20th century. Their identity is impregnated by the feeling of double belonging and reveals great ambiguity.
    O estudo trata de imigrantes portugueses que chegaram a São Paulo entre 1950.1963. perfockt em que a imigração foi incentivada. Recomando à metodologia da Ilimoria Oral, foram entrevistadas imigrantes que contaram a vivéncia do percurso migratório, no decorrer de diferentes fase:. Mantém fortes laços com a aldeia de origem, onde são vistos corno larasikiros". embora com conotação diversa daquela atribuiria aos imigrantes regressados no final do século 19 e início do 20. Sua identidade é mareada pelo sentimento da dupla pertença. revelando grande ambigüidade.
