The conference "Comics and satire - Cultural History Records & Cultural Heritage?" put comics, cartoons and political illustration art in focus as influential media and part of our cultural heritage. During two days researchers and experts from museums and archives from Northern Europe and several other European countries discussed directions of research as well as theoretical and methodological issues and how comics and cartoons could be preserved and made accessible.
