  • Descrição: Lateral cradling preferences were investigated in an experiment in which 520 children from 3 to 6 years old were asked to hold a doll "as if it were a baby". Laterality measures were also obtained from tasks such as: holding a package, hammering, drawing, holding a spoon, Kicking and throwing a ball. Results indicated that children, as well as adult subjects, preferred to hold "the baby" on the left side of the body, independently of the other laterality measures.
