Descrição: We perform molecular dynamics computer simulations of a finite-time Carnot cycle of a weakly interacting gas which we can ragard as a nearly ideal gas by controlling the speed of the piston in the cylinder. We calculate the efficiency η and the power P and compare the efficiency at the maximal power ηmax with the theoretical result derived by Curzon and Ahlborn.
