Descrição: The present study aims to map areas vulnerable to water erosion by the PAP / RAC method using remote sensing and geographic information systems at the level of the Oued Bouhamdane watershed. The qualitative estimate of water erosion by the PAP / RAC method in this watershed provides a synthetic map of the distribution of erosive states, with 54, 73 % of the total area of the watershed subject to a degree of high and very high erosion. This result shows the value of using remote sensing technology and GIS in the assessment of vulnerability to erosion in watersheds.
