Descrição:
In Oct 1248, Pope Innocent IV restrained certain religious orders from exercising their rights to celebrate Mass and bury their dead in their own cemeteries while the diocese was under interdict. It is shown that a much less conspicuous order, the community of lepers known as the Order of Saint Lazarus, was possessed of the same kind of privileges granted to the Templars over a century before.
