  • Descrição: The capability of the forensic practitioner to process samples using low template DNA (LTDNA) methodologies is becoming more widespread. In a properly validated system, LTDNA analysis provides the practitioner with a valuable tool for the robust profiling of trace level DNA samples. Here we provide an introduction to the technical processes used for the analytical and interpretive processes for LTDNA analysis and an understanding of the surrounding precautions and protocols used to increase the robustness of the technique.
