  • Description: The J= pT spectrum and nuclear modi cation factor (RAA) are reported for pT < 5 GeV=c and jyj < 1 from 0-60% central Au+Au and Cu+Cu collisions at psNN = 200 GeV at STAR. A signi cant suppression of pT -integrated J= production is observed in central Au+Au events, with less suppression observed in Cu+Cu. The pT dependence of the RAA is observed to increase at a higher pT region. The data are compared to high-pT STAR results and previously published RHIC results. Comparing with model calculations, it is found that the invariant yields at low pT are signi cantly above hydrodynamic ow predictions but are consistent with models that include color screening and regeneration.
