  • Descrição: This paper reports the first successful preparation of pyocyanin (PYO)-imprinted polydopamine-modified glassy carbon electrodes (PDA-GCE) using potentiodynamic electropolymerization. The molecularly imprinted PDA films showed an enhanced current response to pyocyanin compared to non-imprinted polydopamine (NIP) on GCE. The MIP-GCE sensor exhibited improved sensitivity, offering a linear range of 10 µM to 100 µM (r2 = 0.993), with a low limit of detection (6.45 µM) and limit of quantitation (21.5 µM). The MIP-PDA/GCE is a sensitive, selective electrochemical sensor for PYO.
