  • Descrição: This paper mainly proposes a co-axial twin-propeller trans-media vehicle, based on the concept of water-air hybrid drive. Airborne collapsible counter-rotating twin paddles are arranged in a co-axial pattern on top of the vehicle, and three underwater thrusters with a certain angle to the body of the vehicle are arranged at the end of the vehicle in a circumferentially even distribution. The overall low resistance streamline shape of the vehicle can effectively reduce the drag force of the vehicle when moving on the water surface and improve the maneuverability performance. Combined with the force situation of the vehicle in different environments and movement modes, the mathematical model of the cross-media vehicle is established through multi-rigid body dynamics analysis. The hydrodynamic coefficients are solved by computational fluid software, and simulation tests are conducted in simulink. The results prove the feasibility of the proposed design and method.
