Descrição: The author comments on the two Cardington airship sheds in Bedfordshire, England. Each measures over 800 feet long and approximately 150 feet high. The first was erected in 1917 by Short Brothers to build airships. After the war, it became the Royal Airship Works and in 1928, Shed No. 2, made elsewhere in 1916, was re-erected at Bedfordshire. The history of the British airship industry is traced.
