Descrição:
In this paper it is presented the more relevant aspects of the development of a software optimization and simulation tool that allows the calculation of the leakage magnetic flux density in the region outside the transformer taking into account the transformer itself and other cabling structures. The contribution due to the transformer was calculated with aid to a coil configuration set, designed using genetic algorithms, which may have different geometric configurations and electrical state. This coil set was defined in terms of geometric dimensions, number of turns, center of each coil, amplitude and phase of current. The coils may have circular or elliptical shape. The magnetic field formulation was based on the Biot-Savart law. The contribution due to the cabling systems was also calculated using the Biot-Savart law, where each cable is described by line segments each approximated by a polynomial of 3 rd degree. The simulator allows the analysis of the transformer only, the connecting cables or both.
