Descrição: Rock art offers a mixture of documentation, emotion and sensuality, which illustrates the social impulse-not necessarily conscious-deployed by the symbolic and the imaginary inside the properties of the matter that such art transforms. This essay intends to demonstrate that this impulse takes place by the combination of scene (drawing), scenery and texture present in every work. Paintings analyzed here are located in Cerro Intihuasi, in the center of Argentina. The aesthetic perspective needs to explore the latency of the transformational fantasy in rock art.
