  • Descrição: The rapid advancement of technology is the key point for access to  information era and formation of knowledge-based communities. Knowledge-based companies receive generated knowledge and new ideas and in a fully structured process, commercialize them.  Therefore, it is important to analyze the knowledge-based firms’ performance. The purpose of this research is analytical study of evaluative indicators and models for  science and technology in order to offer a model for measuring and evaluating the performance of science and technology of knowledge-based companies in Iran. This research has been done using documentary and survey methods A Delphi interview was conducted in four stages to collect the data. Statistical methods including Friedman test were used to analyze data. The most important findings of this research include: determination of the most important science and technology evaluation models, determination of the most important indicators of the proposed model, assessment and measurement of the impact of each evaluation model of science and technology on the proposed model, and ranking the indicators of five main sections. According to the past studies it can be said that so far there has been no model to evaluate such firms and the proposed model in this research is the first model specifically offered to evaluate knowledge-based firms. Ninety-five indicators out of 195 original indicators were used in the final model. This research offers a model with five sections i.e.  human, financial, structural, performance and productivity indicators.
