Descrição:
Any excavation report is heavily dependent upon the excavation and recording methodologies utilized during excavation, so the nature and structure of these need to be outlined. Aspects of the theoretical rationale and development of the system have been discussed previously (e.g. Farid 2000a; Hodder 1997; 1999a; 2000; see also Berggren 2000; 2001; Chadwick 1998; Lucas 2001). The excavation and recording system is based primarily on a nested hierarchy ofunit, feature, space, building, areaandmound. Chronological grouping is provided byphasesandlevels.
