  • Descrição: This article aims to analyze the current situation of reflexivity between International Law and State Laws, which generates effects on sovereignty and citizenship. Its research problem is: what new trends can assume the relationship between External Law and Domestic Laws at the new world context of sovereignty and citizenship in times of globalization? As a hypothesis, it poses that despite the sovereignty has suffered a redefinition, it still has legal and political significance. The globalization of ideas of human rights gave a new meaning for International Law, which went on to influence and even to provide valid criteria for Domestic Laws, the Constitutions must observe Human Rights to be considered effective as emplacements of legal systems. Its methodology is hypothetical-deductive. Its specific objectives are: 1) to demonstrate new relations between sovereignty and states, the interaction of States in the international legal framework, and to understand the contemporary citizenship in the globalized world; 2) to analyze the contemporary constitutionalism from the increase in the importance of international law as well as the relationship upon which International Law causes reflections in Domestic Laws.
