Descrição: The committee of genetics term in Genetics Society in Japan (GSJ) aims to publish new glossary of genetics terms suite for the trend of the times for education and studies of genetics in Japan. After the investigation of translations of basic terms, our work is making progress into the phase to ask public opinions. We developed a wiki-based online system for listing, searching browsing and editing of 2,800 terms in total (http://genetics.ibio.jp/terms/bin/view/Main/WebHome). Using this system, registrants can edit and give their opinions for each of term. We will introduce this system and ask GSJ members to participate in the activity to develop the glossary.
