Descrição: In the title compound, C(17)H(11)ClO(2), the benzofuran ring system is almost planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.011 Å) and forms a dihedral angle of 10.53 (6)° with the chloro-phenyl ring. No significant inter-molecular inter-actions are observed.
