  • Descrição: Describes a simple graphical method for the determination of response bias or criterion in detection and recognition experiments. The method is based only on the geometry of the unit square and makes no assumptions about the statistical properties of sensory events associated with the occurrence of signal and nonsignal conditions. Examples of some applications of this technique are presented.
