  • Descrição: Repeated operational experience has brought about and confirmed a fundamentally new appreciation of the role and significance of air power. This new role applies not only to full-scale conventional conflicts, but also to virtually all types and aspects of modern warfare and the use of military force. The Chiefs of Staff (or equivalent position) of a number of leading air forces share their views about the significance or air power and its future evolution, among other things.
