  • Descrição: This research is an initial study concerning to show personality features mainly self-image of some female patients with alimentary problems treated at the Bulimia and Alimentary Problems Ambulatory of the "Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da USP" (Ambulim). Beyond this research seeks to establish a relation between personality and affective questions of these female patients. This research also compares the results of anorexic female patients (internals and ambularoty). The methodology initially used was the application of a questionnaire of clinical and personal information and a graphic projective test - HTP in 12 people of female sex, who were among age 18 and 40 years. These people have been treated at the "Hospital das Clínicas" and Bulimia and Alimentary Problems Ambulatory (Ambulim). Six of these people have nervous anorexia diagnostic (3 internal patients and 3 patients who were frequenting the ambularory in the evaluation age) and 6 with nervous bulimia diagnostic (3 internals and 3 patients who were frequenting the ambulatory in the evaluation age). First results showed that a human figure designed by the 12 female patients, that is in 100% of the cases. Were retrograded mainly female sex figures. This fact can be demonstrating a difficulty of identification with the female body aspects. 4 Protocols of these tree designs (approximately 33%) showed really unstructured. These designs showed a psychotic personality structure. Three of them were female patients with a bulimia problem and one of them with an anorexia problem. Beyond that we can see representative features in 9 cases (75%) of childlike behavior and dependence in relation to the mother figure.
