Descrição:
Agile Business Process Management represents the next generation of Business Process Management (BPM). It combines traditional Business Process Management style predefined processes, along with Adaptive Case Management (ACM) style dynamic work support. Agile BPM is designed to flexibly address all types of processes used to conduct structured, unstructured, and hybrid business process types to support all forms of work. This paper outlines an experience in the implementation of the multidisciplinary research project - AGILe business PrOcess (AGILIPO), applied in an important organization in Nicaragua. The main contribution of this research is presented as a set of learned lessons during the AGILIPO implementation process. AGILIPO fosters the bottom-up design and automation of an incomplete business process; it follows the principles of agile software development and is supported by collaborative modeling and execution tools that embed social software-like functionalities.
