  • Descrição: FTR spectra of thermally stable polymer fibers based on poly( p-phenylene-1,3,4-oxadiazole) is investigated using Nd:YAG laser at 1064 nm as an excitation source. An anomally high intensity of bands in the 1500–1700 cm −1 range has been revealed. The features of the FTR spectra depending on the conditions of preparing polymer fibers and of the experimental parameters have been considered. A preliminary conclusion has been drawn that laser radiation has a specific polarization effect with subsequent resonance interaction of induction-excited atomic groups in hetero-cycles of the macromolecular chain of the polymer fibers based on poly( p-phenylene-1,3,4-oxadiazole).
