Descrição: Portuguese is the fifth most widely spoken language in the world, being spoken in Europe (Portugal), South America (Brazil), and Africa (Angola, Mozambique, São Tomé and Principe Islands, Cape Verde, and Guinea–Bissau). Approximately 168 million people speak the language, most of them in Brazil. In Portugal and Brazil, Portuguese is the native language, whereas in the other countries it is the official state language, being native for less than 20% of the population.
