  • Descrição: 碩士 中興大學 物理學系所 102 We successfully fabricate Ho0.18Ca0.82Fe2-xNixAs2 single crystals by doping Nickel at FeAs layer. The Ca(FeAs)2 is I4/mmm Th(CrSi)2 –type crystal structure. The single crystals are grown by the self-flux method. Under an optical microscope, the sample is a smooth shiny surface layer plane. The superconductivity occurs while the Spin Density Wave (SDW) is suppressed. The superconducting transition temperature is found strongly correlated to the ratio of lattice parameters of a- and b-axis. Low critical field HC1 about 1 gauss that is a major discovery. Finally, the Homium were replaced by other rare earth elements to explore the impact of magnetic ion to such superconductivity.
