  • Descrição: I will begin by saying that I fully support the analysis and conclusions V. Seliunin advanced in his article. He does not talk about trifles, about secondary problems and difficulties in our economic life. He talks about the most important thing. We have no need of illusions. The question today really stands the way Seliunin writes: "either the feeble but absolute power of administrators and the inevitable collapse of the economy, or restructuring with good chances of salvation." It is vitally essential to us that the nation's leadership, the middle link, and the entire population be fully aware of the critical nature of the present stage in our history: either we will move forward like a great, mighty, and dynamic power or we will soon (I believe at the beginning of the next century at the latest) turn into a backward, stagnant state that will be an example to the entire world of how not to organize economic life.
