  • Descrição: Objective: To determine nursing students' opinions about using standardized patients and clinical skills trainers in their clinical skills training. Methods: This quasi-experimental study comprised eighty-seven firstyear nursing students. Students were randomly assigned to the control (n=43) and experimental (n=44) groups. Students in the control group practiced arterial blood pressure measurement and subcutaneous injections on a clinical skills trainer, while students in the experimental group practiced on standardized patient/hybrid simulationlmmediately after this, the students completed the Laboratory Training Evaluation Form. Descriptive statistics and a t-test were used to analyze the data. Results: The initial clinical skills training with standardized patients made the students feel uncomfortable (p<0.001). However, the students who worked with standardized patients reported more positive opinions than the students who worked with the clinical skills trainers in invoking their interest and curiosity (p=0.009), affecting their learning of professional responsibilities (p=0.030) and contributing to clinical practice (p<0.001). Conclusion: The first clinical skills training with the standardized patients might make the students feel uncomfortable and unsafe. However, training with standardized patients invoked students' interest and curiosity, had the potential of decreasing students' anxiety, and made positive contributions to increase students' self confidence and professional responsibilities. Amac: Calisma, hemsirelik ogrencilerinin klinik beceri egitimlerinde kullanilan standart hasta ve maketlere iliskin goruslerinin belirlenmesi amaciyla gerceklestirilmistir. Yontem: Bu arastirma, yan deneysel desenli bir calismadir. Arastirmanin evrenini 87 hemsirelik lisans birinci sinif ogrencisi olusturmustur. Ogrenciler olasiliksal olarak kontrol grubu (n=43) ve deney grubu (n=44) olmak uzere iki gruba aynlmistir. Kontrol grubunda yer alan ogrenciler laboratuar uygulamalanm maketler uzerinde, deney grubu ogrencileri ise standan hasta uzerinde/hibrit simulasyon ile gercekles-tirilmistir. Laboratuvar calismalanmn ardindan ogrencilerden Laboratuar Calismasi Degerlendirme Formunu doldurmalan istenmistir. Verilerin degerlendirilmesinde sayi, yuzdelik, ortalama ile standart sapma kullanilmistir. Bulgular: Standan hasta ile gerceklestiren ilk calismada ogrencilerin kendini rahat hissetmedigi (p<0.001), bununla birlikte standart hasta ile calisan ogrencilerin klinik beceri egitimlerinin ilgi/merak uyandirmaya (p=0.009), mesleki sorumluluklan ogrenmeye (p=0.030) ve klinik ogretime hazirlamaya katkisina (p<0.001) iliskin goruslerinin maket ile calisan ogrencilerden daha olumlu oldugu belirlenmistir. Sonuc: Calisma sonucunda standart hasta ile gerceklestirilen ilk klinik beceri egitimlerinin ogrencilerin kendilerini rahatsiz ve guvensiz hissetmelerine neden olabildigi, ancak daha sonraki etkilesim ve uygulamalarda standart hastalar ile calismanin ilgi ve meraki uyardigi, ogrencilerin kaygilanmn azalmasina, kendilerine olan guvenlerinin artmasina ve mesleki sorumluluklanmn ogrenilmesine olumlu katki sagladigi belirlenmistir.
