  • Descrição: Long-term industrial tests have shown that the use of commercially available nonwoven fabric (air permeability 200 l/m sec) instead of chafer fabric (air permeability 12 l/m sec) in vacuum filters used in the processing of nepheline concentrate makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the filtering operation by 1.7-2 times without affecting the filtrate quality and cake humidity. The use of sodium polymetacrylate in conjunction with calcium chloride (coagulant) further increases the filtering rate by 20-30% and reduces the cake humidity by 1.5-1.8 abs%.--V.L.
