  • Descrição: "The geologic and biogeographic evidence reviewed indicates that temperatures close to the ground in Europe were much lower during the glacial phases than they are today, and that the climate of central Europe was probably drier, at least during parts of the glacial phases. The ocean-sediment studies suggest that planetary temperatures were also lower."
