Descrição: Walkup discusses how to teach architecture with the use of stacked cubes made from high-quality construction paper. Share and discuss with your students examples of simple constructions made from cube forms. Students can make more cubes if they want a bigger structure, or they can work in pairs or groups to combine their cubes. Paper engineering techniques can also be reviewed before students continue to work. Definitely display the finished works together in a public space - people will be amazed at the variety. This lesson shows that ordinary materials can be made extraordinary.
