Descrição: If the twentieth century was the century of the evolution of "transparent architecture", the new century has dramatically opened raising unprecedented questions related to security. These significantly involve glazed facades as glass fragments are the major cause of injuries received by building occupants during terrorist attacks against what are known as "soft-targets". Combining the various strategies available in this technological sphere, their innovative approach enables a wide range of possible explosions to be covered, exploiting in particular the beneficial effect of the flexible behaviour of elements of the facade frame on the dynamic responsive of glazed surfaces.
