Descrição: Bir Bilim Adaminin Romani Mustafa Inan has a unique place among OguzAtay's works. The book written a biographical novel form describes the life of Mustafa Inan. The aim of this study is to identify the reflections of education problems of his era in the novel and determine the position of these problems in Mustafa Inan's life. Novel of a Scientistreflects the exact changes in university education in Mustafa Inan's life and the time in which the novel was wri tten. In this study it is concluded thatnew universities should not be established unless necessary preparations aremade,turning the existing schools into universities cannot transform academic life and changing the school names does not improve the mentality of scientific studies; it is also concluded that in addition to making publications and carrying outscientific studies, scientists have the task of raising new scientists after themselves.
