Descrição: Bishop Scalabrini is one of the Italian bishops who have most influenced the society and the Church of his time. During his episcopate he did not remain closed in the confines of his diocese, but gradually became convinced of the need to give substance and solution to the major problems of the time: the Roman question and the difficult relationship between State and Church; the social and workers question; finally, the migration issue.
