  • Descrição: The National Institute of Education (NIE) is solely responsible for the professional preparation of primary, secondary and junior colleges teachers for the school system in Singapore. This paper attempts to explore the research in teacher education and where available teacher education research conducted with geography teachers as a source of ideas to bring about a transformation in the way pre-service geography teachers are prepared at NIE.
