  • Descrição: The growth of wireless sensor networks and Internet of Things (IoT) applications happened in many areas, such as electronics, hardware, sensors, operational systems and protocols. However, it is noticed that, while there are many efforts to reduce energy consumption and develop leaner applications, the application protocol of the IoT communications has remained the same for all hardware. This paper presents CoEP, a simple, secure and lean protocol for the IoT which relies on very low-power and low footprint features.
