  • Descrição: In large scale numerical simulation of mountain torrents, the shape and distribution of the buildings are important to the proceeding of the flood. This effect is hardly expressed in mathematical model because the computational grids are larger than buildings. "Equivalent roughness" is adopted to represent the influence of the buildings. This method is too simple and too subjective. The Nearest Neighbor Index (NNI) is introduced to depict the distribution of the buildings in this paper. The impact of different distribution of the buildings on torrents is studied and the relationship of NNI, Fr and slope of the torrent surface is constructed which supports a theory evidence and a method to generalize the distribution of buildings in mathematical model.
