Descrição: Ventricular preexcitations constitute a group of conduction anomalies involving the premature activation of all or part of the ventricle by normal sine wave excitation. They can be asymptomatic, reduced to their electrocardiograph signatures alone or complicated with arrhythmias, which are often serious. The asymptomatic forms are the source of difficulties in the evaluation of pilots for two reasons: certain electrocargiograph anomaies suggestive of preexcitation do not have an unambiguous signification, and the prognosis is not easily predicted.
