Descrição: Digital Pain Therapeutics is an emerging field that is reshaping the way we approach chronic pain management. It leverages the growth of digital health technologies and aims to provide the right support at the right time tailored to individual needs. In November 2022, we organised an innovation lab that brought together 25 experts from diverse knowledge backgrounds, including chronic pain, pain treatment and management, behaviour change, complex analytics, digital health, health informatics and data governance, as well as public contributors. The innovation lab was focused on discussing current barriers and opportunities in chronic pain management and exploring solutions with just-in-time adaptive intervention, an emerging approach to providing tailored support in real-time. In this report, we summarise important questions and considerations to develop personalised pain management with digital health technologies.
