Descrição: Holmes presents new types and other rare examples of Scottish fractions for John Baliol and Robert Bruce. A new farthing type for John Baliol was recovered in 2020 by a metal-detectorist near Collinsburgh Fife. This appears to be the first recorded specimen of a farthing of the first issue. A new halfpenny type for Robert Bruce was recovered in 2019 by a metal-detectorist at Inveriscandye, near Brechin, Angus. The exceptional feature of this coin is the presence of a mullet in each of the four angles of the reverse cross.
