  • Descrição: Could the ostensible exposure of certain individuals and people become a disappearance? The article analyzes the artistic works of Éder Oliveira and Wagner Almeida, both from Pará, in the light of aesthetic and political approaches concerned with the regulation of affect (Butler), the ethical significance of the face as an interpellation to the responsibility towards the another (Lévinas), the potentially political dimension of these artistic and imaging gestures in his work of identification and disidentification of subjects (Rancière) and speeches that embrace the documentary aesthetic in art (Sekula). It seeks to understand how these images frame different subjects and ways of life, according to artistic gestures of regulation of affect, the visible and the “audible.” 
    Poderia a exposição ostensiva de certos indivíduos e povos converter-se em desaparição? O artigo problematiza os trabalhos artísticos dos paraenses Éder Oliveira e Wagner Almeida à luz de abordagens estéticas e políticas preocupadas com a regulação das disposições afetivas e da comoção (Butler), a significância ética do rosto como interpelação à responsabilidade para com o outro (Lévinas), a dimensão potencialmente política desses gestos artísticos e imagéticos em seu trabalho de identificação e desidentificação de sujeitos (Rancière) e os discursos que envolvem a estética documental na arte (Sekula). Busca-se compreender como tais imagens enquadram diferentes sujeitos e modos de vida, segundo gestos artísticos de regulação dos afetos, do visível e do “audível”.
