  • Descrição: The relevance of research in the development of a computer-aided design (CAD) system of technological processes (TP) for assembling adhesive joints is shown. The article reflects the results of creating a methodology for the automated design of TP for assembling adhesive joints. To create a technique, the chemical bases of adhesives used in automobile engines have been identified. Compiled databases of adhesives for each chemical base. The boundary values of the characteristics of chemical bases have been determined. The parameters of the joint structure and adhesive composition, which affect the joint assembly process, are highlighted. Flow-charts have been developed for each chemical base. An algorithm for choosing a chemical base and a brand of adhesive composition has been developed. A conceptual model of the computer-aided design of technological processes for assembling adhesive joints has been formed. The initial data, information support, criteria for making technological decisions and output data necessary for the operation of the computer-aided design system are listed. Thus, conceptual models and flow-charts form the basis of the computer-aided design technique. These results are planned to be used to create a computer program.
