Descrição: [...]the journal is open to papers covering the problems of etymology of selected linguistic units, linguistic and cultural competence, language pragmatics, translation studies, and foreign language teaching. The entire body of published works represents linguistic studies in the broad sense. The editorial board and the team of the Department of Linguistics of the Institute of Russian Studies hope that this volume will kindle the Jubilarian's scientific interests and will encourage him to reach for his immeasurable pool of ideas for further research and creative initiatives.
