  • Descrição: Many researchers and critics have employed the notion of “lyrical prose” in order to describe Appelfeld’s style, yet nobody so far attempted to critically examine this description. In my intervention, I shall attempt to re-examine the notion of “lyrical prose” by relating it to different levels in Appelfeld’s prose as well as to his general poetics and worldview.
