  • Descrição: PH13-8Mo steel powders were prepared with vacuum induction-melting gas atomization.Effects of tapping temperature,nozzle diameter and atomization pressure on characteristics of PH13-8Mo steel powders were studied.The results indicate that,under the conditions of higher tapping temperature,smaller nozzle diameter and lower atomization pressure,the metal powders have higher yield of fine powder,higher apparent density and better fluidity.The optimum atomization parameters in this research are as follows,the tapping temperature is 1740 ℃,the nozzle diameter is φ6 mm,and the atomization pressure is 6.5 MPa.The PH13-8Mo steel powders are spherical or nearspherical in shape,with a small number of satellite particles.
