Descrição: Christian Bernard, director of the Musee d'art moderne et contemporain in Geneva, Switzerland, adopted an antiheroic program of experimentation for the structure of the museum. He believes that museums should be characterized as a site of work and source of information for both artists and visitors. He also feels that the selection of monographic ensembles should be associated with a lack of attention for heroic conceptions of art and artists.
