  • Descrição: A study attempted to estimate the average composition of depleted mantle (DM), ocean plume mantle (OPM), and continental plume mantle (CPM) types. he mechanism of DMoceanic crust and DMcontinental crust mixing during the formation of mantle plumes is beyond the scope of this study. However, the average compositions of DM, OPM, and CPM evidently do not contradict the main models of the formation and evolution of the Earths mantle and crust.
